    Hi. Northern NY here with the same problem (along with ice and snow on the roads). I have asthma triggered by extreme cold and have a fleece lined balaclava that works well for me. If it’s below 20, I wear a hat under it, pull the face cover up over my mouth and nose and I am able to go. I had to try a few different ones until I found one I liked. I also use a neck gaiter if it’s not as cold some days.
