LeggingsPosted by Stéphanie Noël on October 21, 2022 at 8:24 pm
Ladiessss what are your favorite long leggings to run in that have pockets and don’t fall down? I’m transition to pants now that it’s getting cooler but the ones I got are just cheapies from TJ Maxx and I’m constantly pulling them up and adjusting them, I would love some advice before I spend more on a few quality pairs.

I really like Born Primitive, and they have a sale until 10/23 on some of their leggings. I’m not sure about pockets though. I think some have a waistband pocket.

PopFitClothing.com all the way!!! I’ve got like 8 pair and love them. Great pockets, high waist, don’t fall down, and great patterns and colors! Sizing on most are great, but I’ve had 2 pair that have come that have no stretch and I can barely get past my knees. Lol I’ve got the monthly subscription and love it! Definitely check them out!

My favorite leggings for running come from Senita Athletics, Old Navy, and Constantly Varied Gear (CVG).

I keep seeing CVG ads but I don’t know anyone who has them! Thanks for the suggestion!

I have one pair of CVG’s (the pineapple ones). They are okay, they tend to gradually slip down, but for a short workout they do okay. My go to’s are Old Navy. I have about 30+ pairs (I try to get all the new patterns each season – I used to only wear all black, LOL). And I only buy them with pockets. I’ve never had them slip down even with my phone in them. I wear them for all my races as well.

I have a pair of Athleta leggings I really like. Two front pockets and they stay up really well.

Athleta’s are actually my favorite leggings but they’re pricey so I only get one a year on Black Friday… maybe this year I’ll splurge and get more than one, it’s good motivation to keep moving… I spent all this money can’t let it go to waste lol

That’s true. I’ve got one pair of Athleta and really like them. I’ve got some pretty decent capris and leggings from Amazon But you have to sift through the reviews to see what runners think of them.

My favorite leggings that stay put are light n tight high rise leggings from Zyia. They’re amazing and around $69. Worth every penny.

I’ve never heard this brand, thanks for the tip!

I have tried so many different kinds of leggings and my favorite are still Lululemon. If you look in the “we made too much” section you can find some at pretty good discounts! If you signup to be a member (free) they also started doing free returns of their sale items.

Thanks for the tip! I tried some on at the outlet but couldn’t find anything I was looking for I my size. I didn’t know about the made too much section I’ll check it out!

I love my CVG leggings. I don’t have a problem with slipping, I like that they are higher rise/compression. The pockets are deep and they have such fun designs. I actually just bought another pair this morning during their Group Friday sale.

Sounds like exactly what I’m looking for!

I just ordered my first pair of CVG leggings- they have dinosaurs!! Perfect for the Dino-might challenge I joined a little late to the party ? I am going to try to find some deals later for Black Friday for Athleta and Lululemon too!

Update: they came in yesterday and I went for my first run in them today. Left the water pouch at home but brought my phone and they definitely didn’t stay put, I had to pull them up a few time throughout my 5k. They were great when I was walking though, they fit well and look awesome and I think they’ll be really good when I don’t go out with my phone, I just haven’t found an app that adjusts the beat of the music to match your steps that I can play from just my watch.
